Bestway Wholesale "a safe pair of hands" in uncertain times

Bestway Wholesale’s latest multiple account win, Select & Save - the latest retail business to switch to Bestway – only evidences the fact that Bestway is the ‘safest pair of hands’ in the industry according to its Symbol Development Director James Hall.

Speaking after the company’s agreement to supply the Select & Save symbol operator, Hall said “The current climate in retail - with the uncertainty surrounding Booker, P&H and Nisa - makes it imperative that retailers choose a partner with a solid foundation who can meet their business needs and futureproof their growth. Retailers have to invest now to reap tomorrow and work with a wholesaler which is ready for the challenge.”

Bestway’s Multiple Account division was established in October 2015 and now delivers to over 250 sites across 27 operators throughout the UK. Each customer has a dedicated manager who will build and review a joint business plan to ensure standards and sales are met and that they have the right promotions by format to drive customer loyalty and increase footfall. The company has deals in place with a variety of convenience operators including Select and Save, Carters in the SW and Retail 24 in addition to forecourt customers Park Garage Group and Park Road Garages.

Hall continued “Bestway’s Multiple Account business is not all about working with customers to ensure their business growth. If we look at Park Garage Group, that operates 57 sites as an example, we have added a total sales increase of over 5.5% in what was a challenging year for the forecourt sector. This is because Bestway understands independent retail and if, like Select & Save, other chains are concerned that their current supplier cannot provide the necessary support to fuel their development, then we would be delighted to speak to them as we are the safest pair of hands in wholesale distribution.”
